Thank for uploading this! It took me a while to get them all together, figure out where I was, and combine them into one video, but it was fun! Hi Russel, I wondered how far is it from Los Angeles Union Station to LAX airport??? Thanks You’ve got a couple of the locations wrong. At 6:06 that’s Laguna Niguel Mission Viejo metrolink station are they double tracking the surfline main for expanding capacity? Great video of my favorite Amtrak route-The Pacific Surfliner. I rode the Pacific Surfliners 9 times, 7 of those 9 times were when they were called the San Diegans and they ran between San Diego & Los Angeles. On October 6, 2017 I will be riding the Pacific Surfliner train number 567 to Los Angeles, then Metrolink train number 211 to the Sylmar/San Fernando Metrolink Station & visit the Mission Hills section for the day, will return to Los Angeles Union Station on Metrolink train number 224 and board Pacific Surfliner train number 790 for my return trip to San Diego. I travel long distance by Amtrak trains and I will be riding the Pacific Surfliners between San Diego, Los Angeles & Oxnard more often alternating my visits between Los Angeles & Oxnard every other visit home to the Civilized San Diego area.
